Can I replace my CRT monitor with an LCD monitor that uses a VGA plug for an HP a1110n desktop pc?
-
I have been using a Compaq 17 inch CRT Color Monitor connected to my HP Pavilion a1110n desktop PC for years Now it looks like the monitor is failing. I would like to replace the monitor with an LCD type monitor and use the same input for VGA as the old monitor to keep from getting a new computer. Any ideas for me?

Answer:
Just pick up a monitor with the D-Sub (VGA) port and plug it in. No setup needed. Some monitors are only being sold with DVI/HDMI ports, so make sure you get one with VGA.
