How do I make the screen make things bigger on my computer?

  • Because when I'm online the web pages are only taking up half the screen and text is really hard to see.

    You can switch you Display Properties to a lower resolution. It will then display less rows and columns of text on the same screen, making the web page bigger (bigger text and pictures). You do this by: 1) Right-click an empty area of your display, then click the word 'Properties' . This brings up the 'Display Properties' window. 2) Click the SETTINGS tab. 3) Under Screen resolution, you should see your current resolution. Mine shows 1400 by 1050 now. (It's small) 4) Drag the tab (hold down left mouse button and move the mouse) away from MORE towards LESS. Start with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. 5) Click OK to get out of this tab, then OK again to close the Display Properties window. Try different settings to find one you are comfortable with. 1024x768 is great for viewing but you may have to scroll right to read the whole page on many websites, like Amazon.com.

You have to change the resolution under the display from your control panel if you are using PC. I don't know about mac's. chick on setting once you are in the dispay you can adjust the resolution preview it to check the size you want. good luck Michelle
