Windows 7 screen resolution problem?

I just upgraded to Windows 7 and when i went to make the resolution higher the max was 1024 x 768 but on XP it was a lot higher. Does it have to do with my graphics card its a 64mb (yeah its really old).

it's probably because you're only running basic drivers go to your computer's website and download the display drivers
