How do I connect my macbook pro (new model) to my TV?

  • I have the new macbook pro 2011 (the one with thunderbolt) and i would like to connect it to my TV (Samsung plasma). I also have one of the old macbook's that came out in 2007-2008 and i use to connect it all the time to the TV using the special entry that it came with on the side of the computer to connect it to the TV (in which i had to use a cable that I bought from the mac store) except the computer broke, thus i have a new computer but I don't know how to connect it to the TV as it doesn't have the same entry... Please help... I want to watch movies that are on my computer on my TV but I can't unless i figure out how to connect my macbook pro to my TV.
