What is "Widescreen AC3?

Connecting widescreen netbook to NON-widescreen monitor =====================?

• I connected my widescreen netbook to a non-widescreen monitor. But on the monitor, it's just keeping the widescreen look (with black bars on the top and bottom). How do I adjust the display settings to where my widescreen display will take up the ENTIRE screen on the non-widescreen monitor and not just keep the widescreen look?? I tried everything but I can't figure it out. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!

  Right click on your desktop and click >Properties< then on the window that pops up click on >Settings<. then you should see a slider bar that under >Screen Resolution< then just slide it up or down to a non-widescreen setting (1024x768) is most standard ones. then click >Apply< then >OK< (after clicking Apply the screen will go blank for a second while it changes, then come up saying if you want to save new settings.......... if it stays blank it means the setting you chose is not compatible therefore after 15 seconds it will go back to how it was then you can try another setting good luck (BTW if it works but picture is a bit blurred or fuzzy then you probably need to then Click into >Advance< box under the slider bar then click on the >Monitor< tab at the top the select a different >Screen Refresh Rate which most standard monitors are betwen 60 Hertz up to 75 Hertz)
