How to make the color negative on a PC?

Can I make my pc substitute one color for another?

  • My monitor just lost the ability to display red. I have another monitor, but it's all the way in the other room. As Homer Simpson once said, "Anything you have to walk more than 6 feet for isn't worth doing." I want to know if there's any way I could maybe turn "red" into "maroon" or something.

  • Answer:

you can adjust the settings of the monitor or on the pc but that might not help you much so i suggest get a new monitor.

your monitor is dying, losing a colour especially red is a sure sign of that.

Sounds like a glass monitor. Turn the color way down and the brightness up. It's called monochrome. Might do the trick for a while.

The absence of a primary color (Blue, Green or Red) in CRT monitors is a common thing, as they age... In some cases, simply reconnecting the cable between the graphics card and the monitor might bring it back. And check for bent pins in the video card plug and VGA cable... (What type of monitor is it?)
