Laptop screen--funky colors all of a sudden?

Can I return a new laptop that all of the sudden got messed up colors?

  • For Christmas I got a Samsung notebook 2 days after guess what, When I opened the laptop (I have windows 7) the windows icon was green and blue ! And when I went on google chrome Half of the screen was alright the rest was pinkish. The laptop is working fine I never had any liquid spilled on it I made sure it wasn't over heated. I don't know much about laptops so let me describe mines. So 1st off it has a LCD screen that's all i know about the screen.Right now the laptop expert in my home is in Chicago so I don't know what to do. This happened to my old LCD laptop too. but This is werid because it's new.

You might have received a bad one straight from the manufacture take it back and get it replace cause sounds like the pic tube going bad then the pixels next and you don't wont that
