Why is my MacBook screen kind of "fuzzy"? (or blurry?

Macbook pro 13inch screen replacement?

  • Hi, I bought a macbook pro 13 inch about 5 months ago, and recently the screen smashed as I tripped on the wire and it yanked the laptop to my kitchen floor (which is tiled) which obviously smashed the screen and slightly dented the top left of the aluminium on the screen. I was just wondering as I am under warranty still if apple would do anything about it. Also i was wondering, but probably makes no difference, is that the magsafe adapter was made so this kind of event wouldn't happen, because of the magnets in it, and because of this I could email apple that it didn't work how it said it would or something. Thanks in advance if anyone replies :)

  • Answer:

I don't think it comes under your warranty as it was 'your fault' (Well it wasn't but I'm sure they'd say that) unless you have Apple care for your Macbook Pro then it's unlikely they'd replace it for free. It's worth a shot though! Take it into your local Apple store and find out the price you'd need to pay. Does the screen still work?
