Black bar on bottom of my monitor only where previous blue bar was?

My task bar at the bottom of my monitor is white and it should be blue I have right clicked my screen gone to?

  • properties,desk top and changed to blue clicked apply then ok but it stays white...what am I doing wrong?

    when you click on properties, make sure you are going to the appearance tab at the top then change the color scheme to the right color. then click ok. that is what i do.

Go to your desktop & in an empty spot right click on it. Then click on properties, left click on the tab desktop & pic what you want to appear on the screen. If you are talking about the colors on the IE windows,then click on the tab appearance & pick the colors you want your windows to be.

before you go messing with anything did you restart your computer? could just be a glitch that will reset itself.
