How do I monitor my use of my time?

How can i use my monitor and tv, with my computer, at the same time?

  • Is it possible to have my computer and my television running at the same time. So if i am doing something on my computer monitor it will be also shown on my television.? I have attached my computer to my television through s-video, so i am able to connect to my computer on my television the only problem is it gives me a split screen so i have to drag my mouse over to he tv screen. I need a way to use my computer that allows both displays to be the same. "My monitor displays the same thing as my television" Thank You in advance

    This will depend on the video card you are using... You may need to check the FAQs on the manufacturer's site. But... for Windows XP Try going to the "Control Panel" and DBLclicking "Display" or just right click on an empty area of the desktop and click Properties, then choose the "Settings" tab and click on the "Advanced" button in the lower right hand corner of the screen. There should be a tab for your Video Graphics board which will allow you to control the setting and features of the installed graphics adapter. If the tab does not exist you may need to download and install an appropriate updated driver for the video graphics card. GOOD LUCK

It's all in the software that came with your video card. You should be able to select the configuration you want in your display properties under settings. If you are using an ATI card, there should be a software package called catalyst that gives you more options.
