Can I connect my computer to my TV with a VGA/DVI cable?
-
I have a computer with no special graphics card, just an integrated dell card. My TV runs 1080p with a DVI port. Can I use a VGA/ DVI cable to connect the two? (The VGA end in my computer and DVI end in my TV obviously =P)

Answer:
No. VGA is analog, DVI digital. You would need a converter (expensive). If your pc has not dvi-outlet, the only other way to get the signal into the tv is via a graphics card with tv-out.

No you are going to have to buy a graphics card that has a DVI port on it. You can probably find some cheap ones.
