Help with computer screen resolution?

Just got computer and its windows xp home edition and i cant change screen resolution still pelase help?

u need to install the graphics drivers you can get them from the manufacture of ur PC or the manufacture of the graphics card

find out what kind of video card you have and download the appropriate graphics card driver from the maker (ati/nvidia/intel)

Make sure that the newest graphics card drive is installed, If it's not manually go to the developrs site. I'm guessing you know how to do this, but try changing thhe resolution by going to your desktop, right clicking properties, and clickin on the tab all the way on the right.and MOVE THE SLIDING BAR TO THE RIGHT( The smaller the resolution, the BIGGER things seem, while a bigger resolution i.e. 1024x768 or 800x600 is compfortable for most people)
