My computer froze so i shut it off now when i turn it back on . it works but it doesnt detect the monitor?

it does detect my monitor my mouse or the keyboard . what can i do to get it back. all the fans work everything is fine but it jus doesnt detect those parts. ps. i already tried reconnectin the monitor chip

Since you hear the fan, I suspect the mother board is shot but try this first. If you are comfortable inside the computer: 1. Unplug the computer and open the case. 2. Start removing/disconnecting one item at a time. In particular, remove the memory, any cards (like soundcard), CD drive, etc. 3. Start the computer. 4. Go to step 1 If this fails, then I supect your motherboard is the problem. Mike Honeycutt
