Why does my computer monitor flicker?

My computer monitor does a strange rolling flicker when you scroll down the page.. how do I fix it?

  • I used to be able to simply scroll down the page and it would go very smoothly. Now, the page does this weird thing where a horizontal line appears and rolls down the page as the page scrolls down. As I scroll further, additional lines appear and roll the page down until I hit the bottom. What's up with this? How do I stop it?

You check this with another monitor if the problem there then u should remplace the monitor other wise double check your connections

My old monitor did it to. It pretty much means its going out slowly. Mine took a few months to finally get so bad you could not get on the pc to really do anything. It might be time to get a new one! Good luck and sorry.
