Gray lines on video playback?

How do I get rid of white vertical lines on video playback?

Since last night I've had white, dotted, flickering lines appear on video playback on my Macbook Pro. Whenever I play a video, whether it's on Hulu, Megavideo, or even just the stream from my own webcam, these lines appear. They're nowhere else on my monitor, and they go away when I close the video. I did not drop my laptop, nor did any harm come to it. It's not in any one area of the screen, either. If I move the video, the lines move. There seems to be the way to get rid of these lines... Edit the input of the video... Good luck!
