1 - doesn't matter what brand of computer it matters which port 2 - What ports does your TV have 3 - can get the "wire" or cable at an electronics store like best buy if you TV and computer have a VGA port that would be best and just get a standard VGA replacement cable. The computer must have a VGA port as well as the TV. On the TV it is referred to as a PC input. If no on VGA ports try an S-video cable... would be best if we knew what ports you had on your computer and TV

First of all, you need to have a graphics card with an S-Video port. If you have one, then you may connect the cord to it, and the other end to the S-Video port on your television set. depending on what your tv inputs are and what you laptop outputs are.. most computers have s vidio.. which i dont care for.. or a extra monitor output plug.. this is best.. if your tv had the input to this .. looks the same.. then connect two up and transfer the image... basic cable runs about buck per foot.. i got a 12 foot cable from a computer outsorce store for about 15 plus tax.. if your tv dont have one of these inputs.. then you are stuck with getting converter box for the rca jacks.. and that sucks more then the s video

1.what kind of tv is it.. if it is lcd or projection ,,,it will come with a pc input,.,,just using regular wire like any those destop connect to moniter,,, if it regular tube tv,,,u most need a conventer it will look like a mondem ,,,has one or couple diferent inputs and output that connect ur pc to tv,,, (i got one of it from radioshop.. they got two kind ,,one cost about $75. or the orther cost nearly $150..they most update the price already so check out....i know other place might have same product too,,so before u go shop compare price online first ,,,,so u can save more than just pay the full price....,

You'll need an audio wire as well if you're planning to watch movie or something.
