LED vs. LED-LCD monitors?

I'm looking for a new monitor, and am wondering what the difference is between, if there is one, an LED monitor and an LED back lit LCD monitor.

They are the same thing... and LED monitor is an LCD monitor that uses LEDS to backlight the screen.
