How do I know / confirm if the monitor on my Dell xps laptop is Full HD?

i got my dell xps laptop today. I had ordered for a full hd monitor (dell allows you to configure according to what you want). It says in the bill that its a full hd monitor...but it doesnt say anywhere else! Considering dell ships lcd monitors that are not full hd, how do i ensure the one on my laptop is full hd? There is no model number of the monitor on it! Am i just supposed to trust dell that its a full hd monitor?! Lol I dont have problems with that...it probably is, but was wondering if there is a technical way of confirming if its full hd monitor? Thanks

On the back side of your monitor there should be a small metallic sticker data tag. This would include the information on the monitor itself, including the make and model, in the syntax used by the manufacturer. Just go online, type that code in to google, and you should get a listing for all the specs on that monitor. Just make sure you enter it in EXACTLY. One letter can make all the difference.
