When I connect my laptop with LCD TV colors on TV are messed up... How can I fix that problem?
-
I have HP laptop (3 yrs old) and Toshiba LCD (6 months old) and am using VGA to VGA cable. Resolution seems to be fine but colors are not good at all. I tried to change different settings on my laptop but nothing works and the picture on my LCD TV is in color but the colors are very weird... I wanted to show some photos from my recent trips to my family but it simply doesn't work... Hope someone can help! Thank you all :)

Answer:
Reduce the color depth and resolution of the laptop display. It is likely that the TV cannot handle the full depth of color that your computer can supply. If there's a USB port on your TV, you could try to put the pictures over on a memory stick or something and try displaying them from the USB port - that would bypass the entire VGA-thing.
