Can you hook an Xbox 360 to your PC monitor?

Looking to hook up both xbox 360 and pc to my monitor?

• hello, I have recently bought some VGA cables for my xbox 360 as well as all the bits to run the sound through my PC, the main problem I am having is its a massive pain in the rear to unhook the PC cable from the monitor and hook up the xbox 360, plus im afraid if i constantly unplug and reuplug the cables that the pins will bend. I am looking for a quick, easy, cheap solution for how to hook both of these up at the same time to 1 monitor , I was wondering if http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9875830 would work for this purpose, i know its the reverse of what its intended for, but would it work to have the pc coming in one side and the xbox the other and plug the male end into my monitor and then just use the pc / xbox 1 at a time and have them come through, or would that not work and I need to find some other way to hook them up at the same time? I am not looking to spend much more then 20 bucks, any help anyone can give would be most apreciated.

  Nope. That thing you linked to is a signal splitter. It's for taking a video signal and splitting it to two monitors to show an identical image on each. It will NOT allow you to input two video signals into one monitor.
