Which is better LCD or LED monitors?

Is it true that CRT monitors are better than LCD and LED?

  • i hurd that the image quality of a CRT is better than an LCD or LED what do you recomand me ... oh and that the only advantage a LCD has is that its not 4:3 , comes in widescreen

Not sure of the date on this article but it outlines some of the advantages/disadvantages of each monitor type. Unless you plan to do some high resolution viewing (medical imaging for example), the LCD or LED displays are probably more than adequate for most users.

That may have been true ten years ago but that's not the case now. CRT monitors are considered obsolete now. I don't even know of any companies that still make them. LCD monitors are generally much brighter and clearer than the old CRTs, not to mention they take up less space.

You heard that from someone that knows nothing about them. An led backlit LCD monitor has a much crisper image. They take up very little space and run off a fraction of the power that the Clunker Ray Tubes did.

not really. CRT is not even close to LCD or any backlit LCD monitors in everything except refresh rates maybe.

No, LCDs have better image quality. CRTs have been gradually phased out for years - they have the worst image quality. LEDs have better quality than LCDs.
