How can you hook up TV and monitor to computer?

Can someone please tell me how to hook my laptop to my tv so my computer monitor will be on tv screen ?

    No wonder. Computers put out images between 480 (old VGA) to 1024 or more lines; while TV is 525 lines in North America and Japan, and 625 most everywhere in the world. It is not a matter of cable, it is a matter of format. You need a computer to TV converter unit, a small electronic box that should cost about $50, but be aware that the computer image will ge cropped on the TV if your PC is set to a resolution higher than VGA (640 by 480). Most of the LapTops comes with an extra video out, look for a pin in your laptop which is called S-Video out,if you tv supports s-video in that is all.. another solution is, go and get a TV Combo Box which is sos so cheep, that also can do the job for you even better

u just need to buy a TV tuner card (USB). that will sort the issue and it has many advantages like u can view cable on your monitor and also capture movies (recording), photogrph etc. viseversa it works with TV.
