How to make my monitor screen brighter?

  • I tried the buttons on the monitor, but isn't bright enough because when I play youtube vids., it's too dark and when I look at pictures, it's dark. Please help. thanks. I have a Windows XP Professional. If possible, recommend me a good graphic card or something like that that will make my monitor brighter.

    You shouldn't need to change the options on your graphics card to fix this problem, it's either your system or the monitor. If your monitor wont get bright enough for you, go into the control panel in Windows XP and try and find the monitor/screen options. You should find a brightness/gamma tab in there.
