Good Eyefinity monitors?

AMD EYEFINITY DISPLAY HELP with 3 monitors, 6970?

• Hi need assitance into working eyefinity I have a XFX 6970 with 2 display ports, 1 hdmi, and 2 vga ports I have 2 acer 20Inch that can only support vga and dvi and I have 1 23 inch that can support vga, dvi and hdmi I tried the following - HDMI, VGA-VGA, VGA-VGA plug ins to graphics ..... detects all 3 monitors but the set up to duplicate won't work - HDMI, DVI-DVI/VGA, VGA-VGA plug ins.... result it can't detect the dvi-dvi/vga please advise im desperate to set this up tahnks

  You can only use 2x DVI + The display port with an ACTIVE displayport to dvi adapter or 1hdmi 1dvi and the display port with an ACTIVE adapter Also, make sure the screen's can all display the same max resolution.. I think the main problem will be the display port, which you have to use because hdmi + dvi are all the same type of frequency or something, i had the same problem and went out and bought an active display port to DVI adapter, plus used my 2dvi ports and have had no problem
