  • Answer:

As a Hardware Administrator,I deal with this kind of problem, regularly, there could be many causes,First, just check the cable of the monitor, for proper connectivity, check that is it cut somewhere or not,if it's not then, remove the monitor wire attached to the CPU,check that the screen shows something like "No Signal Found" (only if it's a Digital Monitor"),or else check the SMPS box, maybe it is unable to provide full Power. Now for the main reason for blank monitor, that I always deal with is the RAM.First check the RAM that it is properly connected or not,if doubtful remove the RAM and fix it again, but after removing the RAM "DON'T" forget to clean it with cotton or soft cloth, mainly where the RAM fixes in the MOTHERBOARD Slot. If this couldn't help than you must call or take the monitor to the shop, for further repairs. But try the steps before you take it to the shop, and always see that the "MAIN POWER" is turned "OFF",before doing anything in CPU.

Just check the monitor plug it is placed rightly or not.

well, it's either the pc or the monitor. borrow a monitor from a friend and try that one. do you hear any beeps when it boots up? that's usually a hardware issue with the pc (loose memory, a bad card, etc.)

Maybe your Monitor(the computer screen itself) isn't on. If the "brains" of the computer is blinking try pressing it again it might be in hibernation mode.

I'm pretty sure. That your problem is the cables in the back. Are they all plugged in? Are some old/broken/worn? (these need replacing) Good luck :)

i think there is a problem with your monitor or graphics adapter.my friend too suffered the same problem.

Turn off ur system and then Remove the RAM clean RAM and RAM slot from dust. then reinsert the RAM into the slot chk it.

if you have a small blinking line in the top left corner your hard drive has failed
