How can I tell if my PC is HDMI compatible?

Can anay one tell me what type of lead i need to link my pc to my hdmi tv?

  It depends if your motherboard (and therfore monitor) has a HDMI port, VGA port or DVI port. I would say you would have tried HDMI if it had one, so it's either a DVI or VGA port. With either option the quality may not be great so i would recommend confirming the make of your TV and what you want to do with a store before going ahead and buying one.
