How can I get Internet Explorer to recognize my current resolution setting?

I am trying to run a program that requires I run it in Internet Explorer. It is saying that my resolution has to be set at 800X600 or better, but says I am set at 1058x595. However, when I look at my resolution, it states that I am set at1366x768. How do I get internet Explorer to recognize this?
