Why can't I duplicate laptop's screen to HdTv?

Why cant i take a screen shot of WoW?

  • i'm on my windows 7 laptop and WoW is on full screen and when i hit the print screen button it says "screen captured" on the game and i go to paint and paste it and its like what it would look like if i minimized WoW, wtf is going on?

suggestion set the game up to play in a windowed mode you should be able to stretch the screen to fit your screen then try again
