How would I connect my Xbox 360 to my PC monitor?

Can i connect a Xbox 360/PS3 to my pc monitor via graphics card?

well basically, my pc monitor hasn't got a DVI port but my graphics card does. im just wondering can i plug my HDMI to DVI cable into the graphics card and for it to play on my monitor. if you dont get what im on about this is like a mini diagram XBOX 360/PS3 -> HDMI OUTPUT - DVI INPUT ->GRAPHICS CARD DVI SLOT im just wondering once i plug the DVI cable in, is there a way of it playing on the monitor?:)

no it wont work, the dvi ports on your graphics card are outputs not inputs. if you monitor doesn't have dvi, then it will have vga instead, in that case just buy a xbox 360 vga cable - about £3 off ebay.

Well to tell you the truth I've not actually tried it but it seems like it should work. I run my ps3 hdmi to dvi on my monitor tho. Hope it works. Should give it a try.
