Monitor power light blinks and does not display anything?
-
Every time I start the PC, I always encounter the same issue. The CPU works fine and I can hear from the background music the I successfully turned the PC on. But the monitor does not display anything. Instead, the power indicator of the monitor blinks repeatedly. Waiting for 15 mins does (or probably longer), It will soon open. But when you reboot, the exact same thing happens again. What should I do?

Answer:
borrow a different monitor and try it. if you get the same results, it's probably the video card gone bad. some monitors have different input modes like DVI or VGA. make sure you're on the correct input mode. sometimes you can accidentally change the mode.
