Acer monitor problem.

Monitor power problem acer hn274h?

  • hi, i have a 3d acer hn274h . right now the power light suddenly goes off after few minutes, what i mean is not like it is in standby mode or disconnection but the power completely went off. i also have external monitor (17 inch one) connected and that one is fine when the main acer monitor went out so computer is perfectly fine during that. is that a power cable/ adapter issue? or sometime wrong within the monitor? anyone have experienced with that? please help me troubleshoot this. i would be appreciated if electronic or IT expert technicians could answer it.

    Try booting to your bios and see if you have a display running from it. I don't understand your comments about you external monitor. Might start there at least. I assume it is out-of-warranty.
