What resolution would be best for me?

What is the best resolution for a 37" LCD TV used as a computer monitor?

  • It might sound outrageous, but I wanted to give it a try. I have a decent PC with a high end video card and I can't find the correct resolution. My video card has an HDMI output, and that is what I am using to connect the TV. I have an NVIDIA program that lets me type in my own resolution, but I can't find one that will fit my desktop perfectly. Right now I can navigate around but my taskbar is down so low I can only see the a little bit of it. I have to make all my windows smaller to do anything. Right not it is at 1024 x 768. Maybe the TV itself has a resolution option? I don't see one. Thanks

  • Answer:

The best resolution is always the native resolution of your LCD TV. So you need to adjust your pc resolution to match your TV (if possible).
