LCD monitor question.

Question about dead pixels on my LCD monitor.?

  • Everytime I turn on my LCD monitor, there is a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen. I would gently rub it, and it would go away. How do I get rid of it permanently?

  • Answer:

You can't. You'll have to try to trade it in under warranty or something. Dead pixels are just that, DEAD. Sometimes companies won't take them back, either.

You will never get rid of a DEAD PIXEL, but you can sometimes unlock a frozen pixel, There are various quicktime and flash programs people have written that quickly flash all colors across your screen that have been known to unlock frozen pixels..if it is dead you are unfortunately SOL!...sorry!
