How do I know if my pc monitor is full hd?

  • I have a samsung syncmaster 2770h it got 1ms and 70000:1 dynamic contrast and 1920x1080 (1080p), but how do I know if my monitor is hd ready or full hd? I know it supports 1920x1080 which is considered full hd because of 1080p resolution but that doesn't mean the monitor itself is full hd already? Or? help plz

"HD ready" usually refers to televisions. It means that while the display is capable of displaying HD video, it does not have a built-in HD tuner to deliver the signal. Your particular monitor looks to be capable of displaying full HD. To take advantage of that, you need to make sure your video card is capable of sending a full HD signal.
