Why is my computer screen side ways?

on my sisters laptop, my friend was on myspace, and it start flashing lights, (the computer screen) and now it's sideways. How do i fix it?

ROFL that is the wierdest thing I have ever heard. Right click on the desktop background and go to Properties. You shold be able to change your monitor settings in there
