How to clean a computer screen?

How do i clean the screen of my computer?

  • My computer has a LCD screen, so kindly please tell me how to clean d screen?

    I currently use an alcohol based window cleaner and soft tissues. I use "sprayway window cleaner" (from costco), but i have used rubbing alcohol successfully, too. I even had good success using regular soapy water and a soft rag (one tiny drop of soap per gallon, put that in a spray bottle and you're set). Note: professional window washers use soapy water, too... just throwing that out there :) Make sure that you don't get too much water or cleaner on the screen, so that it won't run down the sides of the screen and flood the electronics behind the plastic.

windex and a soft cloth or towel.. but dont spray the screen spray the cloth you use

Don't ever use any cleaning products, including windex. Get a soft rag and put a minimal amount of water and wipe it down it a horizontal or vertical direction.

The best way i think, if you want to keep your screen clean and scratch free is to use the cloth that comes with a pair of sunglasses or spectacles. Theses cloths do not contain any wood extracts like tissue or towels. Any as i normally use water as some chemicals can cause marks on the screen. :-)

They make a screen cleaner that you can use with a soft towel. Personally I just spray a little Windex on a mirco fiber towel and have been for years.

With a damp, soft cloth. Use water only and don't try to get it clean fast by pressing. Take your time and will become clean without scratches.

You should be able to use a dry cloth... Start yelling at your friends that have to actually touch the screen. Or, just go to radio shack and get the cleaner

I use a soft cloth along with windex for my laptop and it has remained as clean as the time I bought it...

10 Things to do to "CLEAN" your LCD screen: 1. Pray first. 2. Breath deeply. 3. Get a soft towel. 4. Get any materials to "clean" your LCD * memoriatic acid * huge mallet * matches * trash can 5. Pour the memoriatic acid on your LCD screen. 6. Use the matches to burn up the LCD screen. 7. After the fire goes out, smash the LCD screen with the mallet. Smash it into little pieces. 8. Pick out the smashed LCD screen. 9. Throw it on the trash can. 10. Use the soft towel for your tears.. DOes it work?? by: [email protected] ====just kidding!!!! ^_^
