What's the best monitor for Xbox360 and PC?

Xbox360 through PC to monitor?

  • I recently decided to set up my Xbox360 right next to my PC, there both hooked up to the same monitor and I can switch between modes, which is good for multi-tasking. Anyway... Is there any way I can plug in my Xbox360's HDMI-Ouput into my PC's HDMI-Input, and then have that display on the monitor. You understand what I'm talking about right, is there a program (or something) that does this?

    That will NOT work. The HDMI port on your PC's motherboard (if you are using integrated graphics) or video card are built to SEND OUT video signals ONLY. They are NOT built to RECEIVE. You can NEVER connect your XBox's HDMI jack to those, and NO software can EVER change that. Don't even think it.
