Something wrong with my monitor?
-
So I have this small problem with my monitor and I'm not sure what it is. Never had it with any other monitor. I'm using the Acer GD235HZ 24" with an Nvidia GTX 560 video card. It is connect through DVI. The problem is that there appears to be some wavyness in mostly large solid middle greys and whites. For example if I opened a webpage and it was completely grey you would see this wavyness that moves down the screen. It doesn't jitter the screen or anything like that. It does not appear to be the refresh rate because I have run the monitor both at 60hz and at 120hz (120 being the native refresh rate). Both the video card and monitor drivers are up to date. Below I put a link to a video on youtube. I recorded it using my flip camera of my monitor and you can see what I'm talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnIYrRnp2ns&list=UUmtGl5Ko1Tgm-Cw80vf5Lmw&index=1&feature=plcp

Well...it seems to be a small problem but if you don't feel comfortable with it try to update your computer it may fix the problem...if it didn't then there's a problem with your VGA and if the problem increased trust me your computer is gonna die i had a personal experience so go a-head and fix it!
