Why is the side of my computer screen gray?

My computer desktop screen has turned on it's side. How can I get it right side up again?

  • The computer desktop screen is on a 90 degree angle. All the icons on my desktop are on their "side" and the desktop picture is on it's side. Any idea what caused it and how to fix it?

    It may not be your video card...I've seen spyware do this kind on trick. A good pc clean might fix it.

turn the unit on its side - you should be fine

press CTRL and SHIFT and R Keep Pressing until the screen as rotated fully to where you want it. (only works on some pc's though)

this is probably a video card issue. You need to right click on the desktop and go to properties and then the last tab. Then the advanced button. @ that point you might have to click either "geforce" or "Catalysis Control Center". You have to click through the options until you find the one to rotate it
