Acer monitor problem.

Acer 17" AL716 Flat Screen Monitor Problem?

• Every now then when I go to turn on my computer monitor it and it shows the screen where my computer is booting up or when I haven't touched my computer for a while and it goes to the screen saver and when I move the mouse to wake up my computer my screen will show my desktop then it shuts off for some odd reason in other words the screens goes blank with just a black screen I know it's still getting power because the power button is lit up green. I have to either keep flipping the power switch on and off on the side of it or keep pushing the power button on and off until the screen stays fully lit...This is getting really annoying to me and I would like to find out what is wrong with this thing and what I can do to have it fixed. I've checked all of the connections on the back of my computer and monitor and everything seems to be tightly in place. So if anyone can tell me what is wrong with my monitor I'd greatly appreciate it!

  If pushing the mointor button takes care of the problem, then your monitor needs to be replaced. Its usually not something that is fixable with out spending more than the monitor is worth.
