Why do i get a blue screen and my computer crashes im playing the sims 3?

Reboot your machine and re-install the game on your computer. Update drivers: Some games have very advanced graphical elements. In this case your graphics card can either be outdated or incompatible that is causing game crashes. To fix this issue, follow these instructions. 1. Right Click on Computer. 2. Select Properties || Hardware tab. 3. Click on Device Manager. 4. Right-click on sound card driver and updates it. 5. Repeat step 4 with graphic card. 6. Done. Try to restore your computer to an earlier date. Use the System Restore tool. Following are the necessary steps. 1. Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | System Restore. 2. Follow the wizard on your screen. After you do so, clean your registry entries for the possibility of broken entries in Sims 3 registry paths. Download Reginout registry cleaner for that.

Make sure that the sys req are all there. The important ones are you must have some 8 or 9 gb disk space for the full version, 128 mb or higher graphic card(normal screen have 16 mb) with support for pixel shader2 ,1 to 1.5 gb ram....etc. If you are using a pirated game then you must crack it...install the game .now explore the dvd(right click on the dvd icon in my computer and click open) .there you'd find a folder crack. in it there you would find an .exe file . Copy it into the folder where all the the installed files for the game are saved in your computer.here you'll have to replace an exiting file of the same name and format.(you may first del this file and then copy the same from the dvd.) this process is cracking and will solve your problem given it's pirated. But an advice, don't use pirated games as it brings great loses to the makers of the games and if everyone starts using pirated stuff then they will have to close down their company resulting no more new and good games....bye, hope you find the solution to your que soon if this doesn't solve your problem .

Hey. Check if your system is overheating or anything, or there are hardware failures in the system. Blue screen usually happends for them reasons, you need to get a professional to have to look at your computer if you require a better powersupply to stop your computer from heating up. Good Luck.
