Answer:
Yeah, you are experiencing a blue shift which happens to some LCD monitors after extended use. The previous poster is correct the red is going out in it causing it to look more blue. Your monitor is getting ready to fail and unless you have another one sitting around to use check out any number of Viewsonics (at around $200) from Newegg, http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Manufactory=1226&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=1056%3A9096&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&description=&MinPrice=&MaxPrice=&SubCategory=20&Submit=Property Before you ask, no, there is no way to fix this problem.

Changing and flashing colors could be a sign of several things. 1) double check to make certain that the cables are firmly plugged in 2) remove items like phones, speakers, and other electronic devices 3) read the manual and Deguass the monitor If that doesnt help, then typically your monitor is starting to go bad. The only way to be certain is to carry it to another computer and see if the problem follows the monitor.
