Webcam freezes on msn?

How do i turn my laptop webcam back on?

  • hey my webcam is built in to my laptop and some how before i got given this laptop its already uninstalled because when i click on the program button for webcam it doesnt come up and you go properties or soemthing and it says unavailable. my computer is an asus so how do i turn it back on.? p.s my msn on my computer wont let me sign in. it doesnt come up with an error code it comes up with plz install newer version but my comp already has the latest one. so i click yes and it takes like 5 mins to finish downloading and it doesnt come up with a save program or anything the box just closes but then my msn freezes and i cant click the sign in button to see if it works. then i close the whole program and it does the same thing again. how do i fix this? thankssss :)

    go to Device Manager, remove the webcam driver files > reboot > Reinstall Hardware driver.
