What laptop to buy for college and some gaming?

• Hello I need to buy a new lop top for my 17 years old daughter. We are plannig to spend under $700. She will be neding it for college and sha also like to play games (World of War Craft for example). Can you please tell me what kind of lop top should I look for. I was in Best Buy & Fry's today and everyone is givining me different info. Some say that I have to go fro AMD video card. Some say, buy only Intel. Some say AMD A8 is between i5 & i7. So it is really does not matter if I buy AMD or Intel. Can you please help? I am very confused. I hate HP. I had so much problem with my old one, HP repaired it 3 times, but when it went out again on the 4th time for the same reason, they said I have to pay for the repair now.
