How do I best clean my Lap Top without damaging it?

How do you clean a lap top screen?

  • My lap top screen has fingerprints and general dirt build up from never having cleaned it!! What agent should I use and should the agent be applied with a cotton cloth?

  • Answer:

    I just use a microfiber cloth to clean mine, I wash the cloth afterwards and if my screen is still dirty I do it again... I've never really used cleaning agents on mine because I know that it's bad for it, but I did use my glasses cleaner once. I don't know if you'll take any of this, but that's just what I do for mine. =)

Computer screen wipes purchased at most computer stores. Soft lint free cloth dampened with plain water, not wet but slightly damp. Never use any type of caustic cleaner like Windex etc or paper towels.
