What can I do with drive "D" my recovery drive?

Can I move my Recovery D drive (Partition) to an external drive & delete the data?

  • This would give me more room on my internal drive

  • Answer:

sure .. but i doubt whatever the restore system is for it will function properly if its in the wrong place .. it would most likely need to be modified to work ... or u could get somthing like nortons ghost or acronis true image and make ur own backup ... save it to a dvd set or somthing ...

it's best if your computer has an option to allow you to make back up of your recovery files to a CD/DVD discs, then you can delete that partition OR use that external drive for your personal's files, and that C: drive uses as your Windows and programs drive. This is the route I do, and most people would do too.
