How to connect to laptop with a bad video card?

I wish to connect my laptop to my tv?

i have an Asus F50sv laptop that i would like to connect to my tv to play video. i have been doing a lot of research and it is difficult to sort out myth from fact. my laptop has a Nvidia Geforce GT 120M (with CUDA) video card and there are two outputs, VGA and HDMI. my TV has component video, the single RCA video and S-video inputs. i would like this to be fairly inexpensive if possible, so buying a digital converter would be the last option. what i want to know: is there a VGA or HDMI cable that will adapt to RCA video, component video, or S-video and how do i adjust my laptop to make it work.
