Whats better an Ipad or a laptop?

Laptop. iPad's are retarded. You would need to Carr a backpack to carry it in. Anyways, you have an iPod Touch.

Laptop is far more powerful than an Ipad and can play games and has a bigger electricity capacitor than the Ipad but Ipad has auto wifi. But that can be easily countered by a laptop with a broadband.Plus, Ipads are hard to type with and sorry I dont know which laptop to recommend because it depends exactly what you want it for.Try looking around.

Laptop because you cant print on an Ipad. Some kid has it in one of my classes and its alright I guess. Nothing too special, just a giant ipod and its fast to type notes. Though he did tell me you can download songs with a limewire type app.

A laptop is an overall better choice. You can write papers and print things off of it. I have always preferred Toshiba's. They are high quality laptops.

iPads, unfortunately, do not have flash support, and you also cannot do nearly as much on it as an actual computer. Laptops, which are computers, do have flash support, you can also do much more on a laptop, such as download different games that the ipad doesn't offer (that'd be games that arent on the app store). You can also play browser-based games on a laptop. Plus, laptops are much cheaper. If I were you, I'd get a laptop before an iPad. (Also, I believe the iPad 2 is coming out soon anyway.) Oh, and laptops have a LOT more GB than that of an iPad Edit: Referring to Evan, not only does an iPad not have USB support, but also there is no DVD/CD drive for watching your favorite DVDs, home movies, vacation videos, etc. that you cannot get onto your iPad from iTunes.. All in all, the laptop would be your best choice. Also, referring to :), you CAN print with the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, etc. with iOS 4.2, it offers AirPrint, however, you cannot print without an AirPrint Printer.
