How do I get my computer out of SAFE mode?

This may happen mostly due to rogue software esp internet security. I would uninstall Norton through' Control Panel - Add/Remove Prog - and then reboot. If Norton Auto Protect stills runs in the background, follow this steps to remove: 1.Click Start, and then click Run. 2.In the Open box, type msconfig, and then press Enter. 3.Click Selective startup. 4.On the Static VxD tab, click to clear the NAVAP.VxD check box,and then click OK. 5.On the Startup tab, click to clear the Norton Auto Protect check box, and then click OK. 6.Restart your computer in Normal mode. What happened to posting the brand, model number, installed operating system so we can give you the correct answer to your problems. In safe mode back up every thing of importance before it is lost due to a operating system crash. Then turn off the laptop by holding down the power button tell it shuts down then use the built in system recovery or the recovery disc set made for the laptop and do a system repair or recovery/reinstall to correct the corrupt operating system start up files.

if you can't get out of safemode you need to go to system configuration and go to boot and take the check off boot that turns off safe mode you did'ent say what computer you had if it's newer theres a space open on and write system look above and hit system configuration hit boot and remove safe mode it's easy
