Can I replace my CPU on my laptop?

What is wrong with my laptop? (HELP PLEASE!)?

• Hi, I've read many questions about laptops before I joined here, but now I just want to find out what is wrong with my laptop and I think this problem may be serious so if anyone has any idea what could be wrong with it please tell me! Ok so here is some info on my laptop and what had happened to it. .My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5315 and I only got it last christmas, so its only been a year. . The first problem I had with it was over heating. It switches itself off when it gets too hot and I do know its normal for laptops to do that, but it never did this with me before, even when it was really hot. It usually does this when its charging. Sometimes it even switched itself off when its warm. . A few months ago my laptop made weird noises when it was charging, the charging light wouldn't come on and sometimes it even flickered on and off. . I found out that it wasn't the laptop, but the charger. The charger had the wrong type of fuse in it and that was causing the noises. . I recently had to get it sent to a local repair shop to replace my hard drive because there was a problem with it. When it was replaced, my laptop was working properly again. . But just now my laptop's charging light keeps flickering on and off while making weird bleeping noises and when I switch it on, it switches itself back off again! even when its charging! .My brother cleared away the big clumps of dust off my two fans and it worked for me, but then when it overheated, it did the same thing again! won't come on even when its cooled down! . Now my laptop's charging light won't come on at all, its making bleeping noises, it used to flicker on and off but now it just wont light up. I can't switch it on, it won't work! But I found something else out. When I switched my battery with my brother's battery (we both have the same laptops) it worked for me, but again, when it overheated and cooled down, it won't come on. So I did the same thing over again, I switched back the batteries and when it overheated, well it did the same thing again. So can anyone please tell me what is wrong with my laptop? Is it the power port? Is it the CPU? Is it my motherboard? Is it the two fans? Is it my power? Is there someone here that is an expert on computers/laptops and can diagnose them? if there is, can you help me because this is a real nightmare and I want it sorted out as soon as possible! I really want to use it again I keep on using my mum's computer but I want to use my own one again. My mum doesn't want to send it back to a repair shop because it was already fixed at the repair shop and doesn't want to waste any more money on it and its not even fixed! I actually feel like throwing it out of the window! So I need help! Thanks :)

  if over heating is the cause of the problem. then the two fans are the ones causing problems. put your laptop in a flat surface to allow the laptop to cool of. putting it in an uneven surface could cause the vents to be blocked.
